Review // PuroQuiet Kids Headphones

If your kids are anything like mine they all fight over the TV, music choices and pretty much anything else tech related. One of the ideal things for us for a bit of downtime is to grab a tablet and let them choose a film or Tv Programme on Netflix. The problem is like anything the voice over voice over voice. The next problem we have is ‘who took my headphones’ and then the 2 hour fight to untangle any wires to find a working pair.

So you imagine how thrilled we were to be invited to try a pair of Puro Sound Labs PuroQuiet Kids Volume-Limiting Noise-Cancelling On-Ear Wireless Headphones. These headphones are aimed at kids with their noise limiting ability so that they don’t ruin your child’s hearing. But if you need to nab the kids headphones and switch to listen to the Foo Fighters they’ll fit you fine too!

These headphones come in their own protective hard case which we will be labelling with each child’s name. The handy pocket inside fits the charging wire in as well as the headphones. No more fights over who’s is who’s.

The second thing we love about these headphones are the fact they are wireless. The company do pop in a removeable wire in case you need it but the wireless benefits are great when you are talking about toddlers to tweens who are so fidgety. The wireless option says it works up to 1 metre but for us we would say that underestimates the capacity of the reach. The wireless is via Bluetooth and is easy to switch on and off giving you a verbal message in the headphones to tell you if it is on.

The next thing we loved about these headphones are the amount of charge they hold. Long enough to watch a days worth of films (Fizz tested this!) and them some.

Although the headphones are aimed at children I could not resist! They did fit my and my small ears well, super comfy to wear, enough padding for extended use and the arms extend. I can see them lasting a long time.

Overall we are really impressed with these headphones. At £69.99 they are the higher end of the market but I think they will be a long term investment when we buy the boys their own pair too.
