Review // Monster High FrightMares

Monster High is very popular with Fizz and the lovely folks at Mattel sent her Frets Quartzmane™ who is part gargoyle and part centaur to play with over the summer holidays.

Fizz had loved playing with Frets and as its smaller in size it’s been her go to ‘doll’ to have in her travel bag when we’ve been out this summer. As she grows out of the My Little Pony stage this feels a little more grown up for her and she totally matches the recommended age of 6 years old.

Fizz says ‘I love Frets mummy as she’s colourful and fun to play with’

The doll is the usual quality you would expect from Mattel and comes with a few accessories such as pink leg warmers. It’s definitely vibrant in colour which is a draw for Fizz and the fact that it’s more unusual for a doll type product is always good too as I find having a mixture of traditional and modern looking toys helps with imagination and creative discussions around bodies and images too.

The RRP price is £11.99 which is equivalent to the dolls in this range. It’s a great smaller gift or stocking filler for Christmas (if you’re that organised!!)
