A few weeks ago FizzBox.com invited a myself and a selection of Brighton Bloggers to experience two different events in one. The company pride themselves on being able to put together group experiences catering for small or large groups. They aim to be a one stop shop for anyone wanting to put together a group party with a difference.
The first event of the evening was a lovely relaxed afternoon tea at Brown’s. This worked well as the first experience as it gave time for guests to mingle and get to know each other. I loved the relaxed atmosphere of this part of the event as it was perfect to just talk, eat good food and grab a glass of Prosecco. We had a separate part of the restaurant so it felt intimate but not closed off. We spent the time chatting, getting to know each other and swapping tales of our lives as well as the blogging world. The cakes were a massive hit too!
After a short walk we hit Revolution. Again a private area just for our party was reserved and this was a bit more secluded then Brown’s. However it was very spacey and the decor was definitely a hit with our party! We were treated to a cocktail masterclass which ended in us making our own cocktails (all tailored to the individual rather than a class showing us how to make 1 cocktail we were given the opportunity to make anything from the menu. This was really fun and something I would consider hosting for a birthday. After the class we were served some mini burgers, nachos and other delish food. I really enjoyed the experience as although it was a class it was laid back and we had plenty of giggles!
The evening was something I would have never considered before but I think if I wanted to do something special for a birthday or friends get together this would be high on my list. The cocktail making class was £25pp and the afternoon tea juts £14.50 pp so there really is something to cater for your set budget too.
How do you love to celebrate a special occasion and is this something that would appeal to you?
Do check out my InstaStories of the event!
