We know that it may feel a bit early to talk about winter approaching but with the UK weather being completely unpredictable we know it’s so much better to be prepared than not. Thats why we have already got our autumn to winter essentials to ensure that we can leave the house and everyone be as cosy as can be.
So Here Are My Essential Items For Your Pram This Winter
Every buggy needs a decent sheepskin liner and this gorgeous one from The Little Green Sheep Company really does fit the bill. We were sent two from their range as our buggies are all very different. We will be doing a full review but because these are such a reasonable price we know you’ll want to grab one now. Sheepskins are dual weather functional meaning that they keep your baby cool in hot weather but also warm and cosy should the weather be colder. This makes them a perfect addition leaving summer and through the next seasons.
They last well (our first sheepskin has just had to be sadly thrown away as at 6 years old and 2 children it is very worn. With good care the style from Little Green Sheep will in my opinion last longer as there is extra care taken on the finish. We have the Mimosa and the Natural Sheepskin which are both £49.95. I may have to buy the charcoal as that is lush!
The next item you need is one of the lovely blankets from Snuz. As our site sponsor they send us some lovely bits and their reversible Rootin Tootin blanket is one of our favourite prints. At £22.95 it is great quality and they have a lovely range of prints. The size of the blanket is perfect for Beatlebum in the buggy and makes a makeshift play space for him when we are out. It washes well with no shrinkage because it’s made of good quality material.
Thirdly we can’t forget our Snoozeshade. Now we know that this may seem like a summer buggy essential but actually it’s a great item all through the year. I am starting to travel to London on a regular basis and having this means baby sleeps through my meetings and isn’t distracted by all around him.
The sun can be quite low through the autumn so this shades his little eyes and when it’s windy it creates a little cosy cocoon. We had the classic and have just upgraded to the deluxe plus as it’s suitable for older children too as their is a viewing panel added to this design. At £34.99 it is a great investment as again it will last.
