Dad fashion gets a bit of a bad rep. It’s associated with poor style, and giving up when you reach middle age. That, or you’re just too tired out from running around after the kids to care! But that just doesn’t have to be the case. There is nothing stopping Dads looking cool, or even hot! So read on for some suggestions for the coming season.

Jeans

Jeans they are practically indestructible, and they look fantastic, so they make an excellent choice for casual dad wear. They will stand kicking leaves in the autumn with the little ones, as well as kneeling down on the floor to pick them up, and the odd, inevitable spill and stain.

The trick with jeans is to get the color and the cut right each season. Then you know you will be able to stay on trend. Lately, jeans have been erring towards the skinny. But if you feel like blacker than black spray on jeans might be a bit much for you, then why not go for a slim leg fit. This will give you the shape, but still allow you to be comfortable. If black is a bit too emo for you. Then go for the classic blue stone wash, which has the 90’s vibe. It’s bang on trend this season.

Plaid Shirt

The classic colours for this season will be red and black squares and the blue and green check. These look great with a t-shirt underneath and teamed with your jeans.

Beards

Ok, so long wildman beards continue to be a hot trend this season. One of their major advantages is that you don’t have to worry about shaving in the morning. The other is that they are going to keep you face nice and warm during the colder weather.

However, not everyone can grow a beard or wants one for that matter. If you are more of the classic clean shaven type, then you are ahead of the game.
