chill. i.e. got in touch to talk to me about their new eBook including their favourite drives for Families, and it got me thinking about mine…With summer fast approaching I have been looking at some fabulous places to visit around Brighton. We intend to make the most of this summer with excursions and adventure and so we thought we would share this fab list of places to go.
If you are looking for a short getaway then why not take a drive to the WOWO campsite. The space looks absolutely amazing. Save space in your car boot by booking a glamping holiday. The campsite is child and dog friendly. I cannot wait to sing around the campfire! The Bluebell Railway is only a 5 minute walk and away and we can highly recommend that as part of your mini break from the city.
Drive along the coast for some big screen fun at places such as Lewes Castle which is hosting some outdoor cinema evenings this summer as is Preston Manor. A great way to spend the evening with a picnic whilst watching La La land and other movies! These are part of a pop up cinema organised by The Duke of York cinema and they’ll playing Labyrinth (U, 101 mins) on Friday, July 4 amongst other films. As this is a family favourite we will not want to miss seeing it in the open air!
Drusillas park is always a great option to do with the kids. This summer you can see Marshall and Chase from Paw Patrol. Fizz loved going to this park with my sister a couple of years ago and is desperate to go back again! It’s not much of a drive so the kids can’t do too much ‘are we there yet’ – perfect for a get up and go excursion!
Of course you may be looking to take a trip further away this summer and we are desperate to visit our friend Hannah in Ireland. I’ve never been and it would be great to go and meet up with another blogging family for some adventures this summer too. While we are there a car hire for a big family would be ideal for exploring and making sure we get the most of days out. Let me know of any suggestions of great places to go and must sees!
Of course you’ll also want to make sure that your car insurance is up to date with a firm like chill. i.e. to make the most of any unexpected car repairs or breakdowns!
