Hang Ironing While You Shower

You can cut down on the time you need to spend ironing with this hack! Have you ever noticed how steamy it gets when you have a shower? Well, all that steam can be used to iron your clothes. You just need to hang some wrinkled clothes in the bathroom while you take a shower. All the moisture in the air can help smooth out your clothes! It might not work for all your clothes, but you’ll be amazed by how much this improves your ironing!

Use Water To Unblock A Toilet

No one wants to have to deal with a blocked toilet, but sometimes they are completely unavoidable. Thankfully, there is a really easy way to remove the blockage – you just need to use water! This may seem a bit counterintuitive but it really works. You just need to boil a kettle full of water and then pour it down the toilet. All the hot water should dislodge a blockage. This normally works like a dream but if it doesn’t, you had better call a plumber!

Use Pumice On Lime Scale

Sometimes, lime scale will appear on even the most cleanest of toilets, sinks, and baths. And they can be very stubborn and difficult to remove. But, if you use pumice stones on your feet, you should use one of these on the stains. Gently scrubbing with the pumice stone will quickly lift the stain right off!

Store Hairpins On Magnetic Strips

Are you and your daughters continually losing your little hair pins? There is one easy way to store these – you just need to stick some magnetic strips onto the wall of your bathroom. You don’t need to attach large patches of these strips, just a small length near your mirror should do. You can then stick all your little hairpins onto them. Most DIY and homeware stores sell metalic strips.

Add Spice Racks

Are you struggling to find plenty of storage space in your bathroom? Sometimes it can even be difficult finding the space to add an extra shelf or cupboard. If this is the case in your bathroom, there is a very easy way to get more space. You just need to add some spice racks to your walls. These are smaller than normal shelves and will be big enough to store bottles of shampoo and shower gel.

Hopefully, these tips will make your bathroom better for your larger family to use!
