5 Travel Essentials I Can’t Live Without Featuring Victoria Hockley

They key to travelling successfully is to be organised, prepared and have your travel essentials with you. They could be little home comforts, camera equipment or the perfect bag. Victoria Hockley from the blog Mummy to my Little Cheeky Monkey is sharing her top 5 travel essentials that she always takes away with her.

Tell us a little bit about you and your blog

I’m Vicki a mum of two boys James age 6 and Freddie who is almost 3! We’ve been blogging for just over four years about life with the boys.

You are sharing your top travel essentials with us today, where are you travelling to next?

We have just got back from Majorca which was our first family holiday abroad. Our next trip will be down to Surrey to see my in laws.

Please share your top travelling essentials with us and why you love them.

1 BABYMULE BACKPACK – This bag is literally a life saver when travelling with the boys! It has two massive compartments meaning I can separate my own belongings from stuff for the boys! I used this as my hand luggage on the recent flight as I could put all the changing kit in one pocket and all my own things such as my iPad and headphones into the other.

2.  LUMSING POWERBANK – I literally don’t go anywhere without it! It comes on school runs, shopping trips and days out. Since I use my phone for most of my photography the battery runs down fast and this power bank can recharge my phone twice before it needs charging itself. I bought this in 2017 when we went to Alton Towers for a couple of days and it was fantastic! On the way home it actually fully charged both my phone and Andy’s Phone.

3. My PANASONIC LUMIX SZ3 – Ive had this camera for a few years and I adore it! It’s small enough to go into my handbag or I can clip the case onto my belt loops. I do use my phone for most things but when we are travelling I tend to take my camera as well!

4. PHONE CHARGER – I always have it with me if I’m going to be travelling. Even if I am popping to my mum’s for the day I will take it with me as the buses have plug sockets.

5. IPAD – This has to be one of my most important items when travelling. I use it for reading on the Kindle app and I download from Netflix and BBC iplayer. The kids have their own tablets but I will also have things downloaded onto mine for them to watch as well.

Thank you to Vicki for sharing her travel essentials, what’s yours?
